Bugeyes can be made quite usable in the winter months with a good top and sidecurtains. This December of 2010 in the Northeast, for example, has been cold but dry so it’s still Bugeye weather… no need to put the car away for half the year when you can still enjoy a 34 degree day with dry roads and sunny skies. And you have the added benefit of keeping your car exercised as late in the year as long as possible… annoying hydraulic leaks seem to surface after long periods of hibernation. So we are advocates of at least bi-weekly exercise, and year- round sports car driving, so we fit tops and sidecurtains on cars to make winter driving as comfortable as possible. In the video below you can see the end result when we fit a new top and sidecurtains on a customer’s car before we shipped it to California for delivery to a new home.
