We were fortunate to have three of our Bugeyes featured on the cover of Hemmings Sports and Exotic Cars this month, and a great feature story about the Bugeyes we build. We also love MGAs, and have had many of them. I have a Black and burgundy 1962 MGA Mark 2 in my personal collection. Here’s another very special Mark 2 in exceptional condition, now for sale.
This is the perfect car for anyone looking for a very high level restoration on the coveted mark 2. Moreover, dove gray is a rare color, and IMHO, one of the nicest available. There are many red and white MGAs out there, but gray cars are hard to find and particularly striking.
This is a freshly restored car with a delightful leather aroma emanating from the new leather seats. The carpet is matching gray wool throughout. The top the highest level of stayfast cloth. No expense was spared to build this exceptional car.
Out of the roughly 100k MGAs that were made, just 3049 were 1962 Mark two roadsters. This is the last of the breed and this car has the biggest MGA engine they made, 1622 CC. This car has the correct engine and is ready to enjoy. The car drives wonderfully with no issues.
The engine was completely rebuilt, and all the mechanicals are in excellent shape. This car is guaranteed to win shows, and get you there without headaches!
Everything under the car is immaculate. I have some pictures of the battery area in the gallery below. The one picture that says it all is the immaculate frame before the body went on (see below). Every square inch is completely restored!
