Our 99th Bugeye “Wade” went to a great couple, who sent the following note after they picked up their Bugeye and drove him to their home about two hours from our shop:
Wanted to send you some pics from a shake down drive of sorts for Wade the Bugeye. The Hudson Valley Region of NY has some of the best roads in the country along with fantastic scenery.
Our drive took us out North of Port Jervis, NY going through an area along the Delaware river called the Hawk’s Nest. A great road that had cars and motorcyclists all giving us the wave during our journey.
We logged 125 miles in about 3+ hours of driving on a beautiful day without any issues and smiles all around during our drive! It speaks volumes to you and your shop about the work that goes on to make sure these 50+ year old cars are worthy for the road. What a blast!
Shawn & Dawn
And you can see more of Shawn in the video below. He mentions a Hemmings article-we were featured in a cover story in the September issue of Hemmings “Sports and Exotic Cars”(happens to be my favorite car magazine). I will post the full feature soon if you missed it or if you are not a subscriber. That’s our town dock on the cover, where you have seen many of our Bugeyes photographed in the past.
Also, Helen is our 100th Bugeye sold, and we’ll share more about that new owner shortly! This is a big month for us, stay tuned!
